Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
I chose to do residency because I wanted to pursue a career that I love and am passionate about. I always knew that infectious diseases and completing a residency would allow me to experience many distinct roles of an infectious diseases pharmacist and ultimately allow me to achieve this goal.
What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?
The Froedtert & MCW program had a multitude of clinical, precepting, research and learning experiences that drew me to their program. Additionally, it was clear that the infectious diseases pharmacists were enthusiastic and passionate about the future of their residents and program. With the various projects, teaching opportunities, rotations and mentors I knew that the infectious diseases program would give me the tools needed to eventually develop an expertise in infectious diseases and inspire others to travel down the same rewarding path of specialization.
