Don’t worry about the small things that aren’t on your resume, focus on the activities/accomplishments you do have! Residency is used to expand your exposure to new experiences. Don’t be afraid to highlight experiences you are looking forward to while talking to programs and during interviews.

Froedtert offers extensive exposure to emergency medicine and critical care experiences. Residents have the opportunity to respond to codes, help treat trauma patients, participate on interdisciplinary teams, and many more. Additionally, if you change your mind about a specialty, Froedtert offers numerous other opportunities for clinical exposure in other specialties like oncology, cardiology, or transplant.
