Advice for Potential PGY2 Candidates

Think about your future career goals and find a program that aligns with those goals. Find programs that are enthusiastic about what they do. Find programs that can make you smile and laugh. Be yourself in order for you to find the program that fits you best. Remember to eat food, drink water, and breathe. You can’t change the past and can only do so much to plan for the future, so live in the present and enjoy life!

What attracted you to Froedtert Hospital’s PGY2 program?

The people. I had a great experience during interviews and learned about many opportunities available at Froedtert from the unique elective rotations to the EM staffing shifts to the longitudinal toxicology focus. The preceptors are all very supportive and kind. It definitely feels like a second home!
