Why did you choose to pursue a residency?

My first exposure to clinical pharmacy, and ultimately what prompted my pharmacy journey to date, was shadowing an ICU pharmacist. After witnessing the high level of collaborative care and seeing a pharmacist practice at the top of their license, I knew that a residency would help strengthen my clinical skills and handle the demands of a clinical pharmacist position.

What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?

I was drawn to the Froedtert & MCW residency program because of the diverse rotations offered, preceptors that push for autotomy, and numerous PGY2 opportunities. Being positioned at a tertiary care facility and the only adult Level 1 Trauma Center in the surrounding area seemed like the ideal location to help develop my clinical skills and become a well-rounded clinician.
