5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Walk
Sunday, June 7, 2020
The 14th annual Strain for the Brain Run and Walk was held virtually on Sunday, June 7, 2020. This event honors individuals living with a brain tumor, those who lost the fight and the many people who love them — all while raising funds to support research to find better treatments and, eventually, cures.
Brain tumor “warriors” — individuals currently in treatment or who have completed treatment, clad in yellow tee shirts, will participate alongside friends, family members and care providers.
Since 2010, this event has raised approximately $515,000 for brain tumor research at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin.
