We encourage patients to schedule lab visits whenever possible. This helps promote social distancing and reduces wait times.
To schedule an appointment, please call this location at the number above. All lab draw stations are linked by the Epic electronic medical record system, so an order can be made at one clinic location and drawn at another lab location.
Lab results are available in MyChart. If you do not have MyChart or have questions regarding your results, please contact your provider. Lab staff cannot provide results.
Preparing for Your Lab Visit
- Stay Hydrated: Drink the daily recommended eight to 10 glasses of water (64 ounces) in the 24 hours before your lab visit. Try to drink two to four of those glasses within eight hours of your visit. If you are having a urine test, make sure to drink enough water to provide a sample.
- Length of Visit: Lab visits can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes. Please plan accordingly.
- Caregivers and Visitors: Lab waiting areas are typically small, so please consider limiting the number of people who come with you for everyone’s comfort. If you require a caregiver, they must stay with you throughout your visit.
- Glucose Tolerance Test: If you are having a glucose tolerance test, you will need to stay in the lab waiting area until the test is complete. This may take up to three hours. Wi-Fi is available for your convenience.
- Fasting Instructions: If you have been instructed to fast for your test, please follow these instructions:
- Do not eat or drink anything except plain water for eight hours before your lab visit.
- Drink the daily recommended eight to 10 glasses of water (64 ounces) in the 24 hours before your lab visit and take medications as usual (unless instructed otherwise by your doctor).
- Fasting is important for accurate lab results. If you arrive to the lab without fasting, we will not be able to collect your samples and will ask you to reschedule.
Please call to schedule an appointment. Visit MyChart or contact your provider for lab results.
