We offer a variety of in-person and online classes to meet the needs of first-time and experienced parents, including classes on childbirth, breastfeeding, C-section and multiple births. In-person birth classes are only available for patients delivering at Froedtert Hospital.

Birth Classes

We offer in-person birth center tours at our hospital birth centers. In-person tours are only available to patients delivering at that birth center. Video tours are also available.

We also offer post-partum core retraining and strengthening sessions at our Sports Medicine Center in Wauwatosa.

Online Pregnancy, Childbirth and Newborn Care Classes

All of our classes are open to moms-to-be who are delivering at one of our birth centers — Froedtert Hospital and Froedtert West Bend Hospital.

All online classes are offered by Injoy. They are accessible from any device that connects to the internet. You will receive an assigned code after payment is made giving you access to the class website for nine months. Classes include interactive exercises with videos, helpful tools, checklists  and trackers.

We offer the following program for our families delivering at the Froedtert Hospital Birth Center.

Pathway to Parenthood Prenatal Education Program

These classes are FREE and ONLY available to patients delivering at the Froedtert Hospital Birth Center.

This seven-class series presented as a hybrid of virtual and in-person sessions by the Froedtert Hospital Birth Center covers pregnancy, labor and birth, breastfeeding, infant safety and infant care. In-person class size is very limited, so all in-person classes will also be offered virtually.

The Breastfeeding 101 and Returning to Work and Breastfeeding class are offered through the Pathway to Parenthood prenatal program. Both are available in person and virtually.
