Why did you choose to pursue a residency?

I chose to pursue residency in order to challenge myself and further my clinical skills and knowledge as a pharmacist. By completing a residency, I also hope to strengthen my leadership skills, develop my confidence by working alongside various healthcare providers, and be able to have a positive impact through direct patient care.

What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?

During my last year of pharmacy school, I had the opportunity to do rotations in the Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, and ED at Froedtert Hospital. With each rotation, I was continually impressed by the outstanding preceptors and learning experiences that I was afforded. By pursuing a residency at Froedtert Hospital, I knew that I would be given numerous diverse learning opportunities in a progressive and supportive learning environment. Practicing at a large, academic medical center like Froedtert Hospital would also allow me to further my own clinical skills and knowledge through precepting other learners.
